Description

When fielding implementation-related questions for the 456 TP profile, Chavdar and I identified that we currently have ambiguity and two interpretations (that conflict) expressed across current publications of the 301/452/456.

Specifically, a question came up pertaining to ConnectivityNodes, ConnectivityNodeContainers and containment. The context being tracing out the BaseVoltage corresponding to a ConnectivityNode/container. The BaseVoltage being that corresponding to a particular TopologicalNode in a TP profile (where TopologicalNode -> BaseVoltage is required).

Attached to this JIRA is a PDF with background and highlights around the ambiguity. Discussion and decisions are needed as to how we may want to eliminate this ambiguity/conflict via new (or updated) constraints for our end-users.
