Description
In looking at the XSDs generated by CIMTool, I wonder if there might be some value in having a comment automatically added in the header that identified the version of CIMTool that was used to generate the XSD? Could it also be useful (if possible) to have CIMTool add a comment that identifies the CIM Base (or version) that it used as its input in order to generate the customized output?
I was thinking that this might benefit users who later wish to use the standard and have a need to recreate the published XSD before making their own customized profile.
This could also serve as an opportunity to indirectly refer them to the CIM UG by referencing the CIMTool.
