Description

TapChangerKind and TransformerControlMode should be dropped
This is no longer needed and could be dropped..

Proposed Solution

Delete it or at least deprecate now that we have the new classes.

Update - Feb 2023 by Chavdar:
Propose to WG13 to delete the deprecated attribute RatioTapChanger.tculControlMode and the TransformerControlMode related enumeration.
This was deprecated since CIM16.

Decision

Decision was made to remove both the tculControlMode attribut (in RatioTapChanger) and remove the corresdponing TransformerControlMode enumeration.

The RegulatingControl.mode should be used instead. Since a lot of these controls are no longer hardwired but rather microprocessor controlled, these can now be easily changed.

This is no longer included in the published profiles.

Release Notes

Both the RatioTapChanger.tculControlMode attribute and the corresponding TransformerControlMode enumeration have been removed. These have been deprecated since the CIM16 release and were not part of published profiles for CIM17. The RegulatingControl.mode should be used instead.
