Description
The model of a generic sensor does not provide characteristics about the analogue signal type which is used to receive the sensor value.
TC57/WG18 are proposing to amend the model with a setting to state the analogue signal type.
Proposal descriptions
Add an enumerate setting to address
- all typical current values (0 … 20 mA, e.g.) including life zero signals (4 … 20 mA, e.g.)
- all typical voltage values (10 … 0 … +10 V, e.g.) PT100
- Thermistors (RTD)

The proposed setting name could be something like 'SnsTyp'.
Also applicable for the TTMP LN class.

90-29 will create an extension of TGSN and will propose to include in future IEC 61850-7-4 ed3.
