Description

This protection is used to detect the pole discrepancy and send, after a waiting time, a general trip order.
Needed for some PACS functions.

Proposal descriptions

Since 7-500 proposes PDSC, it could be defined in Edition 3 of 7-4.

Today we have XCBR.Dsc for instantenous discrepancy in the XCBR representing the 3-pole breaker. DscDLTmms with the filter time. But we do not have an extra time to decide tripping. We had this discussion inside ENTSO-E. We will check it. In principle, we could define a new protection logical node.
We have to review also 7-500.
There is another issue related to this possible new logical node from ETNSO-E

2021-03-02: Dsc exists as a DO. RTE is requiring this to be protection function capable of accepting settings. Today there is a setting DscDlTmms for filtering the transient position. RTE is requiring a setting for the tripping.
7-500 propose in 12.4 the PDSC logical node, but it is not in 2.1
Carlos to CHECK WITH HENRY before setting in Resolved state.

Confirm if there will be 7-4 amendment 2.2 and if PDSC will be included in such amendment
