Description

The classes needed as part of this issue are all needed as part of the new Part100 ObjectIdentificationRevisionSets profile. On the 14-Oct-2022 WG13 modeling it was discussed where the classes within this profile should be located. These classes are separate from the new Names proposal modifications. These new Part100 classes are to be used in conjunction with existing unchanged Names/NameType/NameTypeAuthority classes.

Files

Proposed Solution

Two new classes ObjectIdentificationRevision and ObjectIdentificationRevisionSet are needed to support the profile. Please see the attached PNG file for classes and appropriate associations/cardinality.

Decision

Decisions for CIM18:

WG13 agreed to add the ObjectType class to the 61970:Core package in CIM18. This work has been completed as of CIM18v00.
WG13 rejected adding the ObjectIdentificationRevision and ObjectIdentificationRevisionSet classes to the 61970 package. Therefore ObjectIdentificationRevision and ObjectIdentificationRevisionSet will need to be added to 61968 packages.

Release Notes

The ObjectIdentificationRevision and ObjectIdentificationRevisionSet classes (and the proposed associations/cardinality) have been added to a new Part100 package located under the IEC61980 package.
