Bug #408
PICS, MICS and other statements documents are not formally defined
0%
Make sure that all information that is in PICS or in PIXIT and relevant for engineering capability / functionality is included in the service element of SCLMeeting June 2014: the only PIXIT to transfer to SCL was about configuration of some addresses (PSEL, etc); conclusion was that the parameters shall be declared by servers in the communication section of ICD/IID files.
(2) In the SCL / Service element the PICS as well as additional information about limitations is already provided in a formal way. In addition, PIXIT are defined today in the context of conformance testing; Some PIXIT are today not formally described in SCL. Proposal to extend the service element of the IED to cover 100%
Description
Also PICS, MICS and other statements should be formally defined in such a way to ease the detection of potential interoperability issues by the end users.
