Description

Add a new EnergyTechnologyAndFuel class in the MarketManagement package. Associated (zero-to-many) from MarketEvaluationPoint.
According to directive from EU (2009/72/EG, https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/dir/2009/72/oj), the electricity supplier shall inform the final customer about
the contribution of each energy source to the overall fuel mix of the supplier over the preceding year in a comprehensible and, at a national level, clearly comparable manner.
In order to do that, there is a need for electricity suppliers to be informed about how the electricity was produced.

Proposed Solution

Since a MarketEvaluationPoint may use more than one fuel and/or technology to produce the electricity, it is a need to have this information in a separate class, and not in the MarketEvaluationPoint class.
For example: behind a MarketEvaluationPoint there might be both solar panels and wind mills.

Suggested definition: A class indicating the origin of the energy produced at the related Market Evaluation Point.

Decision

Resolution covered by Issue 16_0103.
Needs to be reviewed to confirm
that this information needed at the
MarketEvaluationPoint is the "same"
information modeled at the
RegisteredResource level.

Release Notes

Class Fuel is used to support the modeling need for EnergyTechnologyAndFuel. The Fuel class has attributes fuel and fuelSource and an association to RegisteredResource.
