CIM Issues #5807
Add contractedConnectionCapacity attribute (DecimalQuantity) in the MarketEvaluationPoint class
Description
Add contractedConnectionCapacity attribute (DecimalQuantity) in the MarketEvaluationPoint class [0..1].
The physical limitation of a UsagePoint is described in the attribute physicalConnectionCapacity.
This attribute would inform the Energy supplier that the DSO has a contract for this MarketEvaluationPoint with the customer that the customer may not exceed this limit (and, if anyway doing so, may have to pay a penalty fee).
Proposed Solution
Has been discussed with WG14, a suggestion was to add the new attribute to CustomerAgreement.
However, the current ebIX-suggestion is to add this at MarketEvaluationPoint, since this is needed for market purposes. It has also been suggested to add this attribute to the MarketAgreement class, but it is information more related to the MarketEvaluationPoint itself.
NOTE: if added to MarketAgreement, an association would be needed from MarketEvaluationPoint.
Suggested definition: It is the contractually agreed capacity that the affiliated party reasonably expects to need at most at any point in the year for this market evaluation point. The attribute contractedConnectionCapacity is for large market evaluation points only.
Decision
3/10/2022: Withdraw request from WG14 for change to CustomerAgreement. The decision was to add this attribute to the MarketEvaluationPoint.
3/24/2022: Planned to be modeled in MarketManagement package.
