Description

The association between MarketParticipant and MarketRole is redundant since the inheritance of Organisation (by MarketParticipant) and OrganisationRole (by MarketRole) already have an association.

Proposed Solution

Remove the redundant association between MarketParticipant and MarketRole.

Decision

Proposed the change of cardinality on the OrganisationRole end of the association between Organisation and OrganisationRole to be 0..many. WG14 is considering the request. Leave the association between MarketParticipant and MarketRole until the cardinality is updated in WG14.
12/16/2021: Create a combined issue/WG14 issue regarding to change to the cardinality. Once issues are logged in Redmine. The COMET team may have already solved this, or the modeling may have changed.
