Description

There is a need to merge into the CIM18 UML the final Dynamics package updates that reflect that aligned with the new IEC 61970-457 Ed 2.0 and IEC 61970-302 Ed 2.0 published standards.

Proposed Solution

Merge the latest Dynamics package into the CIM18 UML. This is the final package as provided by Chavdar and Yang corresponding to the their subteam's work on IEC 61970-457 Ed 2.0 and IEC 61970-302 Ed 2.0.

Decision

Merge of these changes into CIM18 has been approved at the CIM model managers level upon high level review. However, though this set of changes are also applicable to DY for CIM17 this did not receive approval and the current recommendation is the for the purposes of the DY I.S.'s profiles that the UML model used to create the profiles should be made publicly available and use as the "source of truth" for anyone wanting access to a CIM17 model corresponding to the DY 2nd Edition profiles. The CIM model managers recognize this is not ideal and that in the future processes will need to be more closely managed and a merge done earlier.

Release Notes

The latest Dynamics package that aligns with the newly published IEC 61970-457 Ed 2.0 and IEC 61970-302 Ed 2.0 standards has been merged into the IEC61970 package.
