see as well 20 and 22 aboveI think, somewhere it is indicated how many bindings are supported (I recently had a discussion about this, but I think it is a rather hidden requirement so should be clarified); but I agree it should be made mandatory and conformance tested

Description

IEC 61850-6 defines the use of the Inputs Section, ExtRef tags, to create bindings between Logical Nodes. From the point of view of the engineering tool and users, this option cannot be used in most of the IEC 61850 conformance IED's in the market.
(1) It is not defined as mandatory but it should be.
(2) It is not defined the capacity of bindings between logical nodes for a given IED.
(3) It is not defined how many bindings a logical node can support.
(4) It is not tested in the conformance test
