Short Proposal:

As it is stated, interoperability testing by ist nature results in a confusing lot of partially tested combinations… I do not think that this can be systematically handled. What can be done is, to organise regularly interoperability test events were typical use cases are tested and then a report is produced (as it has been done once by the UCA users group. However, this creates costs that at the end will have an impact on the product price.

Description

Interoperability to other vendors products is today not verified by UCA accredited test centers, is it up to the end users or system integrators to prove the interoperability for each services that each end user is requiring? Then, there will be a confusing lot of partially tested combinations of products and services but no-one has the full list of these? How can this be handled neatly?
