Support #433
Client implementation Level A certification
0%
Confirmed - Part 10 ed2 already includes clients conformance test procedures. Therefore user can verify what was tested.
Note 2 in section 1 of 61850-10 Ed1 is stating that client test are beyond the scope for that part and intended to be defined during the maintenance. However, the UCA users group has specified conformance tests - so from the utility side you can know what is tested. But we suggest to make sure that client test have been added to Ed 2 of Part 10 or will be added to a new part
IEC 61850-10
Description
It seems that there is a certification for client implementations similar to the certification of IED servers, but there is no written standard (IS, TS, TR) about client functionality. From the utility side, we do not know what tests are done to a client and what is this certification about? We think there should be a standard for client specification.
