Since variable shunt compensator cannot If we do not have a ready suggestion I think we will not come to conclusion no matter how much time we have. It would be linear because g=Re(1/(r+jx)) prudent to separate VSR from perSection/total problem. For VSR I believe we need at most half hour when it is enough to specialize prepared. I’ll prepare something if you agree with answers in the NonlinearShuntCompensator class. Proposed note for the specialized class VariableShuntCompensator: mail on 9/21. For perSection/total problem probably infinite time.
