Description

The CIM should be extended to support the design phase of extending the Grid.

Proposed Solution

1. Review the Design and Compatible Units model elements in the informative InfDesign package for compliance with CIM Modeling Rules and move them into the normative Design package.

2. Use the Design package model elements as the basis for creating 61968-7 Ed. 1 profiles.
