Description

The AsynchronousMachine class has defined the attribute AsynchronousMachine.asynchronousMachineType to indicate whether a 'motor' or 'generator'. Today, this attribute IS in the 456 SSH profile but does not exist in the 452 for the AsynchronousMachine class. Today we have the SynchronousMachine.type attribute in the EQ and the argument is that there is a similar need for AsynchronousMachine. It may be that historically it was simply assumed that it was a 'motor' but with wind commonly in play it could be of type 'generator' and therefore having in the EQ becomes more important.

Proposed Solution

When we updated the 452 EA profile for CIM18 release this AsynchronousMachine.asynchronousMachineType attribute should be added to EQ.
