Description

This issue is logged based on the discussion we had during WG10 meeting in Fribourg, Switzerland during TF 7-5 / 7-500 TF meeting (Feb 26, 2025).

In 7-500 document that is going through the update, we discuss the phase and general position of single-pole breaker in Section 10.1.1.1. For each single pole breaker, we have one XCBR LN for each phase/pole. Then we model the 4th XCBR LN to include common position and phase discrepancy. In single pole breakers, during single pole trip condition one pole will be tripped for a few seconds whereas the remaining two poles will be in closed state. Also, in distribution, these three poles can be operated independently. Hence, for the 4th XCBR Pos data object, we need to clarify when it will take 'intermediate/off/on/bad' state based on Pos data objects of each phase XCBR.

If needed, I can write something and propose in 7-5 / 7-500 TF meetings.
