Description

When exchanging information related to a common grid and supplier billing process between the Grid Company and the Energy Supplier, it may be a need to specify the “Charge algorithm” (equation) used for calculating the amount for this charge. Hence, this MR suggest adding the «ACC» ChargeComponent with the attribute equation and an association to ChargeType to ESMP.
ChargeType class is requested add to ESMP in ebIX® MR 2022/020, see [[https://redmine.ucaiug.org/issues/6533]] . The need for the charge algorithm is among others specified in the ebIX® BRS for Combined grid and supply billing.

Proposed Solution

We suggest ChargeComponent to be moved to the MarketCommon package in IEC 62325-301. Otherwise changes only apply to ESMP (IEC 62325-351). Se further attached file. The suggestion has been discussed and agreed in European retail SG 2023-09-20.
