IoT functions to be accommodated
Proposed Solution
o Part 4 - Asset measurements and monitoring is relevant (already added into Ed.3) o Part 8 Missing functions on how to register device (e.g. hand-held) for first responder message, receive alerts, pricing, and etc. Also functions on open authorization. Need function on discovery process on what information available from publisher. o Part 3 - Functions to notify the first responder o The group discussed on how to cross reference similar functions in IRM. The decision is to repeat if needed since it makes things easier to group everything under a Part (there is an example on load flow for this already). Reading is an example since multiple parts need reading sub functions such as asset readings (named resource reading?) o This topic will be revisited later by part teams

Marty to review Part-8 IRM and CustomerAccount profile Shawn to add relevant pieces to Ed.3 Margaret to share use case on first responder, the enrollment and registration function may be missing in the IRM. (Shawn to add into Part-8 IRM for team review). The first responder case has been added as a separate Issue (see Issue #36 & 37) [2017-10-31]: Related to End Device Operation. Any new functions will be captured under End Device Operation group. Keep the issue open. [2017-11-14]: Split into separate items and then close this issue. [2018-10-02]: Map to the items listed in the Proposed Resolution o Part-4: Asset Monitoring (AM) o Part-8: Report Management (RM) o Part-3: Report Management (RM) o Cross reference across function groups have been indicted in the Ed.3 CDV IRM
