Description

Multiple regulation schedules at controlled point
At IOP 10 there was cases where multiple equipment controlled the same cim:Terminal, i.e. the equipment had the same cim:Terminal reference. In some cases equipment controlling the same cim:Terminal referred to different cim:RegulationSchedules. This raise the question what cim:RegulationSchedule to use so that conflicting voltage control is avoided.

Proposed Solution

The simplest solution is to move the reference to the cim:RegulationSchedule from the controlling object to the controlled point, i.e. the object where the cim:Terminal is located.

Decision

2009-06-08: KLH - This issue was corrected with the introduction of the RegulatingControlClass
