Description

Multiplicities (cardinalities) of "many" associations are not consistently specified. Some use "*" and some use "n" .

Proposed Solution

Use a "*" for specifying "many" cardinalities, as defined in the UML reference manual (Rumbaugh, Jacobson, Booch; Addison Wesley, 1999). Consistently use 0..* instead of just , to easily differentiate between 0.. and 1..*.

Decision

WG13: Agree to be consistent. ROSE 2001 only permits use of 0..n or 1..n, so this is the convention. Noi change needed.
