Description

Note that a busbar section is a single terminal device, as all connected devices connect to the same connectivity node.

Proposed Solution

All other conducting equipment leaf classes have a single terminal, except for the Compensator class, which has one terminal if of compensatorType shunt, and two terminals if of compensatorType series.

Consider specializing into subclasses SeriesCompensator (2 terminals) and ShuntCompensator (1 terminal). [Specializing into subclasses might be treated as an implementation and not a model issue]

Decision

WG13: Should be handled as a separate documentation. Adopt text in proposed change and put in Part 301 text
