Description limits
1: IOP suggests that the descriptions of the limits should be updated to specify that ActivePowerLimit.value shall not be a negative value.;
ApparentPowerLimit.value shall not be a negative value. ;
CurrentLimit.value shall not be a negative value. ;
VoltageLimit.value shall not be a negative value.
The value for type "HighVoltage" shall be greater than the value for type "LowVoltage". Equal values for "HighVoltage" and "LowVoltage" are not allowed.
There should be consistency in the notes for Voltage limits; the use of direction and also types HighVoltage and LowVoltage.
2: OperationalLimitTypes are currently specified by the name attribute. It is suggested to have enumeration or other technique to make easy to extend on profile level and not use name for this purpose.
Proposed Solution
Proposed text OperationalLimit:
The sub class value attribute shall be positive.
The sub class value attribute is inversely proportional to OperationalLimitType.acceptableDuration (acceptableDuration for short). A pair of value_x and acceptableDuration_x are related to each other as follows:
if value_1 > value_2 > value_3 >... then
acceptableDuration_1 < acceptableDuration_2 < acceptableDuration_3 < ...
A value_x with direction="high" shall be greater than a value_y with direction="low".
Decision
Revisit limits when temperature dependent limits are discussed.
The meaning of OperationalLimitDirectionKind unclear. New issue 13_176 created for this.
It was agreed to add a subtype to OperationalLimitType that describe the ENTSO-E limit types. A new issue 13_175 was created for this.
