Description

Currently, a given equipment instance must be contained by zero or one containers (substations, lines or plants). This is not the way that power system engineers look at substations and lines. In the users view, for example, the circuit breaker at a substation that protects a line would commonly be considered as part of both the line and the substation. This would come into play in the sense of use cases for either navigation or for auto-generation of one-line diagrams. The expectation would be that the breaker would show up under both the line and substation views and would be included in a diagrammatic presentation of both the substation and the line.

Decision

2010-12-07/LOO
The cardinality is now [0..1] at the EquipmentContainer side (iec61970cim15v13).
Hence issue solved.
