Description

Substation in Boundary MAS

Proposed Solution

Necessary discussion in WG13 to find a solution that will serve "operational" and "planning" profiles. Decision points:
- Substation in or not in the boundary
- Is the NodeContainer needed in the
boundary?
- Is a BaseVoltage needed for
boundary nodes? If yes, what the
solution is.

Decision

The following is was decided
. If the border is at a line the boundary node shall be included in a cim:Line. The cim:Line is in the boundary model authority set.
. If the border is within a substation the boundary node shall be included in a cim:Substation. The cim:Substation is in the boundary model authority set.
IEC 61970-452 updated for CIM15.
